Dear George-Ann, Bob & family,

My staff and I were very upset to learn of Russ' accident. We only found out today when Bill presented for his appointment. After reading his status reports, it would seem that Russ' youth and strength have both protected him from far worse tragedy and will propel him toward recovery. That, and the love of his family is powerful medicine.

The time had passed so quickly since his childhood visits to my office, holding his Dad's hand, that in my mind's eye, it is still the young boy that I see.

Know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers and we will follow his progress herein.
